First off, lets start this post with Zac Efron's amazing bod.
For all the ladies out there, trust me, this movie is totally worth it because you get to see Zac Efron's amazing bod for like i-can't-even-remember times.
The Awkward Moment (M18)
Zac Efron,
Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller star in the R-rated comedy about three best
friends who find themselves where we have all been—at that confusing moment in
every dating relationship when you have to decide “So…Where is this going?”
Jason (Zac
Efron) and Daniel (Miles Teller) are living a carefree single life in New York
City when their best friend Mikey (Michael B. Jordan) learns his wife wants a
divorce. In a show of support, the three longtime buddies promise each other
that they will avoid commitment at all costs and stay single together, but
their plans are derailed when Mikey starts to surreptitiously date his ex, and
Jason and Daniel unexpectedly fall in love. Soon each man finds himself at the
most crucial point in a relationship, a moment when “so…” becomes the most
terrifying word in the English language.
Written and
directed by Tom Gormican (Movie 43), That Awkward Moment is about the
vulnerability and embarrassment of navigating modern-day relationships,
uniquely told from the point of view of the three guys.
Genre: Comedy

I first decided to catch this movie cause well, Zac Efron's in it. Not that I'm a huge fan of him but dammit, his body is freakkking hot especially after The Lucky One and the synopsis of the show sounds hilarious. 3 guys, saying no to dating, falling in love, having to hide from each other. It all just sounds like a huge big stupid idea that is bound to go wrong.
I have to say though, this movie is super sexually rated. No there's no nudity at all but there are a lot of funny sexual scenes. I had a really good laugh catching The Awkward Moment and I have to say, these 3 actors compensate each other really well. Its as though you're seriously watching 3 best friends, screwing their lives up and its really funny how much pride & ego they have when they're with each other but when in truth, they're all hopeless romantics when they are with the one they love.
I really really like how the romance blossomed for both Jason and Daniel. In a way it was a very expected romance but how the script was written, leading it up to the final stages of a serious relationship was very smooth and natural. Its not some cliche love story of boy meets girl.
This is definitely a good go to movie if you're up for some comedy. I wouldn't even call it a romance comedy because the romance factor is really really low. Its pretty subtle and I like how non cliche it is despite me being a hopeless romantic. Hey, you can't mix comedy and cliche cheesy stuffs together. It doesn't blend well! But Jason's really really sweet in the movie and I'm not going to tell you why cause you will have to catch it for yourself but pssst...who doesn't love a typical bad boy gone good especially when he has such a charming aura aye? ;) I literally went 'AWWW' at the end of the show!
