EVL'S REVIEW: Escape Plan was pure genius. It is probably one of the BEST Action, Thriller film I've ever caught this year. Every minute of the movie keeps my mind running & twirling - wondering what Ray Breslin is going to do next, will so and so betray so and so just for survival in "The Tomb", who will die next, and yet every single moment whatever you think turns out to be the opposite. Love shows like such when you can never anticipate what the next moment will bring.
I completely adore the fact that Rambo Actor, Sylvester Stallone and the one and only Terminator, Arnold Schwarzenegger are both the lead actors of this film. These 2 actors not only portrayed their roles perfectly, they also gave the entire film a slight comedy twist.
I've been anticipating to catch Escape Plan wayyy before its release because I enjoy shows that keeps my mind busy. If you are hoping that Escape Plan is super adrenaline packed because these 2 Expandables stars are in it, then you have to set your hopes down because Escape Plan doesn't have much action at all. It's really more of Ray Breslin being the smart ass and Emil Rottmayer helping his escape plans. Its more brain muscles than muscle muscles.
Nonetheless, if you are a huge fan of Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger, Escape Plan is definitely worth catching!
